I built Fikka as an alternative to all the "vibe coding" platforms that are targeted towards founders. Fikka is built to empower everyone to create software for their private use, while safeguarding their data for accidental deletion by AI agents working on it. All applications are private by default, you opt into sharing them. It started from the idea that managing data is really the hard part of an application's lifetime, and most people don't have a good backup strategy. So I wanted to solve all data related problems for users, so they can build without stressing if what they write down in the app will be there tomorrow. While also of course allowing you to export all your data and code if you choose to walk away, it's all yours. I am planning to make it work great also for those that want to use Claude Code etc. But for now what works is that you can create application directly by connecting ChatGPT/Claude.ai to Fikka (MCP server). I wanted it to be super easy to get started, while later you allowing more experienced users to work more their way in future.
