I watch almost everything sped up, and the speed controllers I tried were always missing something. Some weren't designed well, you had to open a new tab just to change a setting, and they didn't always work. So I built my own. It's called Speedster. On any site with a video, you can speed it up or slow it down, and skip back and forward. You can rebind any key, and you can set how much each press speeds up or slows down and how many seconds each skip jumps. All of it lives in the popup, so no extra tabs. It remembers your speed and goes from 0.25× to 4×. It's a small project and I'm still working on it. If you try it, I'd love to hear what you'd change, or if there's a site where it doesn't work.
