Original Summary
Every time I look up one random tutorial or gaming clip on YouTube, my homepage gets hijacked for the next two weeks. I wanted a way to keep my interests separate without juggling five different Google accounts, so I built Gretel. You just make separate profiles for whatever mood you're in, like Space, Minecraft, or "capybaras doing absolutely nothing." Type in a few topics or channels you like, and it pulls videos from YouTube and ranks them with embeddings so only stuff that actually matches shows up, with zero bleed-over between profiles. Still tweaking the feed ranking and API quotas, so if you try a weird niche topic and get strange results, let me know what you typed in!
