Original Summary
My RevOps team spent mid-June to just before xmas last year on trialling and evaluating different AI tools across our SDR workflow. I wish I could say this was done in a super structured and organized way(!) but it was more like…sign up for a few that look good, run 'em for a few weeks then see what changes. Anyway, I thought I'd share my opwn experience to help anyone else looking to do the same because it's been a lot more effort than For context - we're a mid-market B2B team running a mix of inbound followup and cold outbound using Hubspot for our CRM... The baseline issue was that reps were spending too much time on post-call admin and not enough on the phones. We tested Nooks first, then tried Orum. The parallel dialing capability helped somewhat with connect rates but the demos don't show clearly that conversation quality has to hold up, otherwise at that volume you're just generating bad touches. I was impressed tho with how Nooks deployed dialing with coaching in the same workspace, as it saved reps from context switching between tools halfway through and we decided to keep it for outbound sequencing. Aircall's AI Assist worked better for us since it fit inside our existing phone system. Summaries also auto-populate in hubspot after every call so our managers could pull up call scoring without going through hours of recordings. Since we're a small team (12), that kind of simplicity was almost more important than the feature set. Everything else was either genuinely useful or just a genuinely flashy demo. Has anyone out there had a similar experience with these tools? Would love any input or suggestions or personal experience 😄 submitted by /u/Nightcoon3 [link] [comments]
