Original Summary
When taking a new SaaS product to market, and looking to get users. Is it better to offer "50% off first year" or "6 months free"? They ultimately would be the same value if the users stays for the full year. So far, I have seemed to get a better response on 50% off vs x months free. I only have a small sample size. What are others experiences? When looking for the first paying users on your project or product, which direction have you seen success in, or something different? (i.e. the classic "14 Day Free Trial") It has surprised how much the positioning of the same offer, just worded differently makes such a difference. submitted by /u/_forge_master_ [link] [comments]
