I made this with the help of Claude - you'll need Python installed and then just follow the instructions in the guide. The idea is that this app will try to find currently hot topics - choose from broad categories, and/or add your own. It searches ProductHunt, Youtube, SerpAPI and Claude and uses Claude to compile a report. You definitely need an Anthropic API key - the rest is optional but hopefully the instructions are clear so it doesn't take much time. It then suggests product ideas and an action plan. Might be useful for some people. BTW: I'm having good results with Claude Haiku 5.5 which is really cheap to run, but you can use other models if you prefer.
