Original Summary

I like Apple Mail. I just never got used to triaging email without Gmail's keys, so I built DuperMail, and it's out today. It runs in the background and makes Mail work like Gmail from the keyboard. e archives, j / k move between messages, r replies, g i goes to the inbox. It uses Mail's own actions, so your accounts, rules and everything else in Mail keep working. A few more things it adds: Snooze. Press b and type "tomorrow 9am" or "2h". The message comes back through Mail's own Remind Me. Send & Archive. One shortcut sends your reply and archives the thread. Unsubscribe & Block. ⌘U unsubscribes, blocks the sender and archives all their mail. z undoes it. ⌘K command palette. Find any action by name, so you don't have to memorize anything. Snippets. ⌘; inserts saved text and can fill in the recipient's first name. Superhuman keys if that's what you're used to, or set any action to any key you want. Single-key shortcuts only work in the message list and the message you're reading, so they never fire while you're typing an email. Nothing about your mail leaves your Mac, and there are no analytics. You get 14 days free, and only the days you actually use it count. Launch discount: Lifetime is $39 instead of $59 until November 11. The code is applied for you at dupermail.com/lifetime. https://www.dupermail.com I'd love to hear what you think, especially what's missing. submitted by /u/cmer [link] [comments]
