Original Summary
Hey everyone, Like most people here, I found myself constantly needing quick digital tasks done: compressing a PDF for an application, resizing an image, formatting JSON, or generating a QR code. Lately, almost every major tool site (iLovePDF, TinyPNG, etc.) has become practically unusable: "You’ve reached your limit of 2 free files today" "Create an account to download your compressed file" Forcing you to upload sensitive documents to unknown third-party servers. I got fed up with that friction, so over the last few months I built Kitfyre . What it is: An all-in-one suite of 40+ fast, browser-based utilities that are completely free to use, forever. Zero Signups or Logins: You open the page, do what you need to do, download your file, and leave. Privacy First: Wherever possible, tools (like PDF compression and image conversion) process files locally in your browser —meaning your sensitive documents and images never even get uploaded to my server. 40+ Tools in one place: PDF Tools: Compress, merge, split. Image Utilities: WebP/PNG/JPG converters, image compressor, passport photo maker, crop & watermark. Calculators & Converters: Loan/EMI, BMI, GPA, currency, units. Developer & Text Tools: JSON formatters, JS sandbox, Base64 encoder, regex & extractors. (Even threw in a 3x3 / 4x4 Tic Tac Toe game with an impossible minimax AI if you want to procrastinate). Why I'm posting: The site is completely live at https://kitfyre.com . I’d love your brutal, honest feedback: How does the UI feel on your device? What everyday tools are you currently paying for or annoyed with that you'd like me to build and add next? Thanks for checking it out! submitted by /u/Any-Discussion6715 [link] [comments]
