Original Summary

Hi all. I've spent the last few months building EscapePod ( https://escapepod.vip ), a free site for things to read and listen to. I expected the internet radio to be the popular part, but it turned out to be the books, so I'm sharing that part here. What it does: 41,000 public domain classics from Project Gutenberg, read right in the browser, no app or download A clean reader that remembers where you stopped Day, sepia and night themes Browse by genre or author Internet radio, podcasts and daily puzzles in the same place It's free and paid for by ads. You can open 3 things a day without an account, and a free account removes the limit. It runs on a small server with Node, Fastify and SQLite, and I'm the only one working on it. I'd love honest feedback. What would make you actually use something like this, and what annoys you? submitted by /u/Dev_in_Training_BTW [link] [comments]
