Original Summary

I'm navigating pregnancy as the husband right now, and I couldn't find a pregnancy app for the partner to support. Most apps are written entirely for mom, or they cost money. I ended up constantly looking things up on google or reddit but wanted an easier way. So I built Becoming Three : a free, week-by-week pregnancy companion with a full view for her and a full view for the partner. It includes information on the baby and what she may be going through, practical ways to help, and a to-do list for each week. It also has a kick counter, contraction timer, hospital bag checklist, mood + journal, and carries on through 12 newborn weeks or the "4th Trimester," as it is sometimes colloquially referred to. - no ads, no subscription. The common thing I find with these apps is that it costs money to truly take advantage of what it has to offer. So I wanted to build something that was free and relatively easy to use - It's a web app that you add to your home screen. Might look into building this into a native app down the line but thought it'd be easier to start on the web given some of the adminstrative steps to navigate building this on the app/play store - Watercolor art for every week for a simpler, cleaner look of the progress. And some of the ones I found for partners were a bit overly clinical with their designs/UI. https://becomingthree.com This is a very very simple app compared to some of the other projects that I've seen on this subreddit but it's one that has worked for me every week navigating this pregnancy. I'd love feedback, especially from anyone who's been the non-pregnant partner and is trying to find ways to support their partner's pregnancy in the best way that they can submitted by /u/Legitimate-Horse3031 [link] [comments]
