Original Summary
I've always felt that the hardest part of calorie tracking isn't counting calories. It's having to log every single thing you eat. Chicken, rice, vegetables, a snack... suddenly you're doing multiple searches just to record one meal. So I started building CalorieTalk as a solo project. It's an iPhone calorie tracker where you can speak or type your meal naturally, instead of manually searching for each food. The app identifies the foods, estimates quantities when needed, and shows calories and macros for you to review before saving. It supports English and Arabic, and I'm still working on improving the logging experience and food matching. My goal is to make tracking meals something people can actually stick with, without turning every meal into a chore. If you'd like to try it: https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/id6793199021?pt=129201520&ct=reddit&mt=8 I'd love to hear what you think, especially if you've tried calorie tracking before and found the logging process frustrating. submitted by /u/ConceptEducational27 [link] [comments]
