Original Summary
I work on ScaledThought (I'm one of the co-founders). It's an OpenAI-compatible API for open-weight models, built so a coding agent can do the setup instead of you. You paste one line into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or similar: Set me up on ScaledThought: scaledthought.com/go/org-rdpost The agent signs up and gets its own key. If it prefers a command: npx -y scaledthought@latest init --source org-rdpost Usage is prepaid. There's no subscription. When the agent needs credit, it asks you to approve a top-up through an approval link. You can set a budget per key. Prompts and completions are not stored or logged. It's live in the US. Current models and prices: scaledthought.com/pricing or npx -y scaledthought@latest models --live . Canada is coming soon. I'd most like feedback on the signup. Did your agent get through it? If not, where did it stop? https://scaledthought.com/go/org-rdpost submitted by /u/aindeev [link] [comments]
