Original Summary

I make Return, an iPhone app that brings back a note you wrote before an app you selected. The note is called an Echo. It gives you a moment to read your own words and decide what happens next. For example, you might write: “I’d rather read a few pages than keep scrolling.” You can still choose to continue into the app, or return to a saved idea for time away from your phone. Echoes can also return during the day and while using selected apps. The three illustrated steps are in this App Store preview carousel: https://www.instagram.com/return.app_/p/DeYNrVYDdMe/ . These are marketing compositions with example Echoes, not a recording of live system behavior. Free to download. Personal features are available for 72 continuous hours after first completing setup, with no automatic subscription. Afterward, personal-content changes and personalized Echo delivery require optional auto-renewing membership. Basic selected-app protection and reading saved content stay free. Local prices are shown in the app. Requirements: iPhone with iOS 26.5 or later; English; US, UK, Canada, Australia or New Zealand Apple Account store. Screen Time permission is needed for selected-app features. Notifications are optional. I’d be interested in how you’d use it. submitted by /u/Conscious-Yellow242 [link] [comments]
