Original Summary

I’m building Musia for the gap between knowing a chord shape and keeping up with a song. The Mac app went live today. A simple starting point: open First Pulse, listen to the 60 BPM count-in, then alternate Em and Am every four beats. The current and next chord stay on screen with their fingerings. That exercise works offline. For songs in the app’s catalog, you can loop a phrase and slow playback without changing pitch. Lyrics and chord shapes stay together, so there’s less jumping between a player and a chord chart. It’s a practice companion, not a teacher listening to your playing. Song chord estimates can be wrong, and it doesn’t import your Spotify library or arbitrary songs. US$2.99 once, no subscription or account. macOS 14+, Intel and Apple silicon. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/musia-learn-music-guitar/id6816265930?mt=12 submitted by /u/Ok-Perception1122 [link] [comments]
