Original Summary
I built day3 because I wanted to send product updates to my app's users without paying for every contact sitting on the list. How it's priced: you pay for emails sent each month, never for list size. Every plan has unlimited subscribers. 1,000 emails: $1/mo 10,000 emails: $5/mo 100,000 emails: $25/mo So a list of 5,000 people that gets one update a month fits the $3 plan. What's in it: newsletters and transactional email (password resets, receipts, magic links) from the same verified domain. DKIM/SPF/DMARC, double opt-in and one-click unsubscribe are built in. There's a REST API, and an MCP server so Claude Code or Cursor can draft a campaign straight into it. Automations (welcome and onboarding flows) are in early preview. What's not in it, on purpose: A/B testing, a drag-and-drop builder, landing pages, a CRM. If you need those, day3 isn't for you, and I'd rather say so up front. You can set it up free and send real email to your own team (100 a month) before paying anything. I'd really like feedback: what would stop you from moving your newsletter or app emails over? https://day3.app submitted by /u/PR4DE [link] [comments]
