Will 4K144 fit on HDMI 2.1? (exact Gbps math + YES/NO verdict, free in-browser, nothing uploaded) :)

Original Summary
Bought a 4K 144 Hz monitor, plugged in the "right" cable, and the panel sits at 60 Hz. I've debugged that exact setup more than once: the problem is bandwidth math, and the answer is different for every resolution + refresh + color-format combo. So I built a checker that does the math for you: pick a resolution (1080p to 8K), a refresh rate (60 to 360 Hz), a color format and an interface (HDMI 1.4 to 2.2, DP 1.2 to 2.1, USB-C Alt-Mode) and it tells you the exact Gbps you need vs the link maximum, with a YES/NO verdict and headroom. Concrete example from the page: 4K 144 Hz in 8-bit RGB needs 35.04 Gbps. HDMI 2.0 caps at 18 Gbps and does not support DSC, so it cannot run at all. HDMI 2.1 (48 Gbps) carries it with 27% headroom, and DP 1.4a works once you enable DSC 3:1 - it fits at 11.68 Gbps after compression. It also tells you what to do when it does not fit: swap the port, enable DSC in the GPU control panel, use a cable certified for the full bandwidth, or drop the color format. From my experience that list covers 9 of 10 dead-high-refresh cases. Everything runs in your browser, nothing is uploaded and there is no sign-up.
