Hey everyone, A few weeks ago I posted Lattice here: two small 1.5B language models. Quark is the one I trained completely from scratch, Spark is a Qwen2.5 fine-tune. Since then I've built out the platform, and both models are now available through the Lattice API, free for now. It's OpenAI-compatible, so it works with most existing tools: sign up, verify your email, create a key and point your client at it. Limits are 1,000 requests a day and 50 a minute per account. Honest expectations: these are small experiments. They can get things wrong and they won't replace bigger models. But they're free and you can try them without spinning anything up.
