Original Summary
Hi guys, I just recently published Reactive Html Plots 2.0 . I have been working on rhp on and off for 3 years. I was motivated recently to try implement the redesign I had planned which simplifies a lot of the over-engineered parts, strips out things that were not great ideas, and names + organizes things better. I also improved performance. I also moved this library from React to SolidJS because I needed its signals state system and fine-grained reactivity that comes with it. But the issue, is that SolidJS is not nearly as widespread and popular as React. The subset of devs that could find this library useful is small. So, I have been working on trying to figure out how to make this library framework agnostic. At the same time, I realized that one way to get this into the hands of more people is through AI. So I built an mcp server and a skill that teaches AI agents how to use rhp to built beautiful charts. That was also just released and it works scary good. I just now, while writing this post, ran a test where I generated 12 Charts with a short prompt that did not give any styling/aesthetic cues, and of the 12 generated, I wanted to keep 10. And the remaining two just were not as beautiful in my opinion. 6 of them were so good, I added them to the recipes. This shows an improvement from when I first published the mcp server a week ago (where 4 out of 10 were very good). Enough blabbing..
