Original Summary

Hey all, I'm the dev behind TabMerger. I built the original about 5 years ago because I kept losing research tabs, and Chrome crawled with 80 of them open. This year I rebuilt it from scratch. I used AI coding assistants (Claude Code) heavily to move faster, but with a full test suite and every change reviewed by me. The source is public if you want to judge the code yourself. The idea is simple: close your tabs without losing them. 📁 Save open tabs into named, color-coded groups 🖱️ Drag and drop to reorganize groups and tabs ♻️ Restore a whole group (or a single tab) in one click 🔒 Free tier works offline, and your data stays on your device ☁️ Optional Pro sync is end-to-end encrypted, so the server never sees your tabs 🌐 Chrome, Firefox and Edge Try it: https://tabmerger.vercel.app Source: https://github.com/lbragile/TabMerger I'd like honest feedback. What's the one thing that would make you switch from your current tab setup? And what annoys you about the tab managers you've tried? submitted by /u/lbragile_dev [link] [comments]
