I’ve been working on V8Q for about six months, mostly here and there, but I really locked in over the last two. Between working full time as a nurse and being in nursing school full time, most of it has happened at night, on days off, or whenever I could find a few hours. It started as a way to make my own stock research less subjective and gradually turned into a live system that screens roughly 5,700 securities per cycle , narrows them down to around 90-100, ranks the strongest candidates down to 8-10, and keeps a public record of what happens afterward. So far: • 64 unique stocks have reached the Ranked Candidates list • 8 have advanced to Verified Opportunity status • 6 winners / 2 losers • 75% tracked win rate The part I’ve enjoyed the most by far has just been watching the idea actually come to life. There’s something really satisfying about having something in your head, slowly piecing it together, breaking things, fixing them, adding another layer, and then realizing people can actually use the thing you pictured months ago. I also don’t really have friends who can relate to this whole building-from-scratch thing, so finding this sub has honestly been really refreshing. It’s nice seeing other people obsess over the same weird little details I do I’ll be honest though, I have almost no interest in marketing this thing 😂. I like building. I like figuring out how things work and making the product better. Posting, promotion, trying to grow an audience and all of that has never been the part that excites me. But I’m starting to realize that, naturally, that’s probably the next step. You can build something all day, but eventually people have to know it exists. I wish I could just build shit instead 😅 Still early, still a small final sample, but seeing something that started as a random idea become a real product has easily been my favorite part of the whole process.
