I kept opening Instagram "for a second" and losing an hour, and blockers never worked for me because I'd just turn them off. So I built Doom Saver. When you open an app you've chosen, a small hooded knight called Grim appears with a running timer and reminds you of better things to while doomscrolling. It uses Usage Access instead of Accessibility, so it can't read your screen, and stats stay on your phone. Free on Android. It launched on Product Hunt today.
