Original Summary

The idea: most of a road trip is just driving past stuff you'll never know the story of. RoadWhisper uses GPS + AI to narrate what you're passing — landmarks, history, local trivia — without you touching your phone. The interesting technical problem wasn't the AI part, it was location/timing: figuring out when something is "worth" narrating so it doesn't talk constantly, and getting narration to actually finish before you've driven past the thing. Also spent a chunk of time on ASO since app discovery turned out to be its own separate battle from building the thing itself. Freemium — 1000 free stories per day, $2.99/mo for unlimited. Would love feedback from anyone who's built something with real-time/location-triggered content — how did you handle the timing problem. https://roadwhisper.org submitted by /u/Substantial_Tour725 [link] [comments]
