Original Summary
I'm the developer. Pagehour is a reading tracker for iPhone and Android. Tap Start when you open the book and Stop when you close it, then type the page you reached. It saves the session and shows something like "59 pages · 23 min · finish Oct 3" straight away. Three decisions I'd like pushback on: A day only counts toward a streak if it has real pages or minutes in it. Backfilling today and yesterday is free; Pro adds logging missed days up to 60 days back and two freezes a month. Too strict? Reaching the last page never marks a book finished. You confirm it, and rate it then. Everything tracking needs is free: timer, unlimited books, streaks, reminders, the last 7 days of stats, Goodreads CSV import and CSV/JSON export. Pro is full history beyond 7 days plus the streak tools, at $29.99/year (7-day trial) or $4.99/month. Is that the right line? Sessions that cross midnight and daylight-saving days are covered by tests. Audiobooks log listening minutes instead of pages, and you can scan a barcode to add a book. No account, no ads. iPhone: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/pagehour-reading-tracker/id6816395389 Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.acefina.pagehour submitted by /u/raiansar [link] [comments]
