Original Summary

I built a Chrome extension called ALGO that helps you see the hidden patterns shaping your YouTube recommendations. It looks at what’s already showing in your feed and gives you a clearer picture of things like Feed Diversity, Algorithm Grip, recurring creators, and whether your recommendations seem to be opening up or getting more concentrated. There’s also a visual Snapshot that maps out the creators and categories shaping your feed. The idea isn’t to tell anyone what they should or shouldn’t watch. It’s simply meant to make the algorithm a little more visible. It’s free, doesn’t require an account, and only reads what’s already visible in your YouTube feed. If you use YouTube regularly, I’d love for you to check it out and let me know what you think: https://algo.tonary.com submitted by /u/tonarym [link] [comments]
