Original Summary

I’ve spent the last few months building V8Q, a stock-research platform that scans beaten-down stocks for potential recovery setups and runs them through a five-factor scoring and risk framework. I launched it publicly on August 31. V8Q funnel + performance so far: • Roughly 5,700 securities screened per production cycle • 49 unique tickers have reached Ranked Candidates since launch • 8 advanced to Verified Opportunities • 7 winners / 1 loser • 87.5% tracked win rate • Winners roughly +7% to +40% It’s still a very small sample, so I’m not pretending an 87.5% tracked win rate proves anything yet. Every callout since launch is public, including the loser, with the original research archived and timestamped. The average observation period so far is about 4 weeks, generally around 3–5 weeks. The actual product is built: automated Morning/Midday/Final scans, individual ticker research, scoring and qualification, historical archives, performance tracking, research reports, website, backend, etc. The part I underestimated was distribution. I’ve been posting the research on X, but with a tiny following most posts get almost no engagement. Reddit has done better, but I’m realizing I don’t have the time to become a full-time marketer. So now I’m debating whether to keep building it, find someone who actually enjoys distribution/growth, or sell the whole platform to someone better positioned to grow it. For anyone who has built a product first and figured out distribution afterward: what actually worked for you? submitted by /u/BraveSomewhere3777 [link] [comments]
