Original Summary
Hey everyone, I finally published my first mobile game today. It’s called Quicky . When I was a kid in school, I used to draw these huge tower defense maps on notebook paper for my classmates. I’d act as the "game engine," moving the enemies around with a pen while they told me where to place their towers. Seeing them actually get invested and have fun playing a game I made out of paper was the best feeling ever. Honestly, that’s exactly why I got into coding in the first place. Fast forward to now, I finally made a real one. Quicky is a simple, fast-paced arcade game meant to test your reflexes. I built it completely from scratch using Flutter . It was an interesting choice for game dev, and I definitely hit some walls, but I learned a lot. The launch wasn't smooth, though. Right as I was getting ready to release it, my AdMob account got hit with a random 29-day suspension. I was pretty bummed out, but I just decided to use that extra month to fix some bugs, polish the code, and make the UI feel a bit more responsive. Anyway, it’s finally live on the Play Store. Just like back in the classroom, I really just want to see people play it and hear what they think. If you have a few minutes to try it out and give me some honest feedback (or even roast my design), I would really appreciate it. 🔗 Play Store Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.anes.quicky I'll be hanging around in the comments, so if anyone has questions about using Flutter for a game or dealing with the Play Console review process, let me know submitted by /u/AffectionateAgent692 [link] [comments]
