Original Summary

I'm the developer of Selenar, a Mac app that notices selected content categories in the window you're using. Categories include social media, shopping, news and games. You can also choose specific sites and apps. When it recognises a match, you get three choices: • Leave it: close the matching tab or hide the app, then hold that category for 15 minutes. • Continue for 10 minutes: let it through for a while. If you've moved away when the time ends, it stays quiet. • Wrong call: exempt that site or app for 24 hours. The recognition runs on your Mac. Screen content isn't sent to cloud AI. Rules can stay on whenever Selenar runs, or you can add them during a Focus. It isn't an unbreakable blocker; you can quit the app. Apple silicon, macOS 15+. Free for seven days of use, then US$19 once with one year of updates. The installed version keeps working after that. Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase. Demo and trial: https://selenar.app/ I'd like feedback from people who try it during an actual working session: was the notice useful, or did it get in your way? submitted by /u/Loud-Caregiver6069 [link] [comments]
