Original Summary
Hey everyone! For the past few months I've been building PageLens, a privacy-friendly analytics tool for websites. Why I made it: Google Analytics needs a cookie banner and feels like it takes a course to understand. The simple privacy tools are nice, but I kept needing funnels and error tracking on top, so I ended up paying for 2–3 tools. What it does: - No cookies, no stored IPs → no consent banner needed - Real-time visitors, sources, UTM campaigns, countries, devices - Goals and funnels (see where people drop off before signing up) - JavaScript error tracking and page speed (Core Web Vitals) - Shows traffic from ChatGPT/Perplexity separately and filters out AI bots - You can connect it to Claude or Cursor and ask "where did my traffic come from this week?" in plain English Setup is one script tag; there are guides for WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Next.js and about 35 other platforms. Live demo with sample data (no signup): pagelens.io/demo Pricing: 7-day free trial without a card, then $5/mo for 3 sites. It's my own product, so I'd really appreciate honest feedback, especially on the landing page and on whether the setup is clear. What would make you switch from GA? submitted by /u/No_Advertising2536 [link] [comments]
