Original Summary
I’m literally convinced that the whole internet will eventually shrink down to just one oriented AI agent or two. Micro-SaaS is 50% dead already, and the other 50% is just waiting for big AI labs to remove the hassle making tools like Claude Code easy for everyone to use and adopt. Regular SaaS is dying too, and at an even higher rate than micro-SaaS. because it is mostly used by professionals who are already tech-savvy, they don’t need to be a nerd to copy successful workflows anymore (like using Opus 5.5 for motion graphic videos). The real opportunity right now is in mobile apps, at least until some company builds an OS with native AI. Everything is going to change in the next 20 years. Even social media will probably merge into one customizable platform, and the rest will just stick around for the nostalgia crowd. This is just my opinion, I’ve scraped a lot of Reddit posts, and people are genuinely happy about adopting AI into their workflows. So yeah, we’re cooked. I’ll give it one last shot before I walk away from this race, because I’m just paying for it with my mental and physical health. Until the economy is completely upended by AI replacing employees, just enjoy the comfort that AI brings to your work submitted by /u/subactovator [link] [comments]
