Original Summary
I built Focus as an automatic time tracker for personal use. It runs in the background and helps me see what I actually did with my computer without having to remember timers. What I get from it: 📅 Daily timeline — see how my day actually unfolded 📊 Trends — compare how my time changes across days and weeks 🗂️ Categories — Gaming, Development, Learning, Research, etc. 🔒 Private by default — detailed activity stays on my PC, with no screenshots or cloud account It's free for personal use, and I've been using it to understand my own habits. One thing that surprised me: I was spending around 20 hours a week gaming . After seeing that consistently in Focus, I cut it down to around 10 hours. I didn't need the app to tell me gaming was "bad" — I just hadn't realized how much time it was taking. That freed up more time for Development, Learning and Research. If you could see an honest timeline of your computer time from the last few weeks, what do you think you'd discover about yourself? https://ripplestudios.app/ submitted by /u/yashrocky [link] [comments]
