Original Summary
So, I am building an app for people who are actively searching for jobs (IT mainly). Ive noticed that there is a gap between applying for a job and actually keeping track of it. Indeed and Glassdoor do provide some tracking, but only for jobs you applied to on their own site. Once you start applying from company career pages, LinkedIn, referrals etc, everything ends up scattered across tabs, emails and a spreadsheet you stop updating after week 2. The idea is to keep the whole search in one place, from finding a role to applying, following up and preparing, and to cut down on the repetitive stuff like rewriting the same things for every application. Before I go too far, I want to hear from people actually going through it: What is the most annoying or time consuming part of your job search right now? How do you currently keep track of where you applied and what happened? Is there something you wish existed that would actually save you time? Not promoting anything, there is no link. I just want to build something people will actually use, so be as honest as you want. submitted by /u/Wooden_Scholar_2502 [link] [comments]
