Original Summary
Hi everyone! I'm Gabriel, the creator of the Back Tap implementation for Android devices. I always liked the idea of tapping the back of your phone to trigger an action, but I wanted something more customizable so I ended up building BackTap . It lets you assign actions like opening an app, taking a screenshot, toggling the flashlight, Home/Back/Recents, notifications, quick settings and many more. The surprinsingly difficult part wasn't detecting the tap but avoiding accidental taps therefore I had to spend quite a bit of time on sensivity calibration. If anyone likes to try it here's the link to it: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gabriel.backtap If you do, I would really appreciate it if you would tell me how reliable the detection feels for your device :D. submitted by /u/Rares6567 [link] [comments]
