Original Summary

My friend and I are building Sound-Pop Studio , a multichannel audio editor powered by my Pop Data Engine . The workflow we’re exploring is simple: select a short sound, find similar events across the session, review the candidates and change only the occurrences you confirm. The demo shows: Auditioning candidates and accepting or rejecting them. Refining event boundaries. Previewing and applying a change to multiple confirmed events. Reversing the batch edit with one Undo. Refreshing the page and resuming the saved review. Viewing activity across channels in a session map. We’re also focusing on resource efficiency. During this particular 64-channel workflow, the audio service peaked at 16.55 MiB RAM and averaged 8.89% of one logical CPU , with the service restricted to that processor. For context, that measurement covers approximately 10 minutes, including review pauses. It excludes the browser and screen recording, and other applications were running. It’s a prototype workflow measurement, not an isolated throughput benchmark. After the demonstrated edit and Undo, every decoded audio sample across the full 64-channel session matched the original. The video uses an synthesized soundtrack. Similar-event matches are suggestions that need review; the tool doesn’t identify instruments. It’s still a working prototype, and we’re gathering interest in early testing. I’m one of the developers, so I’d particularly appreciate honest feedback on whether this workflow would be useful and if there is anyone with skills in the field that would be interested for testing - just send me a PM. submitted by /u/Individual_One_1793 [link] [comments]
