Original Summary
Hi all, I'm the maker. Room Cherry turns a Google Workspace room (resource) calendar into a live door display on any tablet, phone or browser. You open a link, pair the screen with a link, QR code or 6-character code, and it shows whether the room is free, what's next, and the rest of the day. It refreshes from Google Calendar every 30 seconds. Why I built it: most room display options I looked at want specific hardware, an installer or an app to manage. I wanted something where a spare iPad and a URL are enough. Where it is now: it's live, with a 30-day free trial (no card). After that it's $10 per room per month. It's early and I don't have customer logos or a demo video yet. What I'd like feedback on: Is a browser-only display good enough, or do you need kiosk-style controls? What would make you trust a new tool with calendar access? Site: roomcherry.com. Happy to hear what's missing or confusing. submitted by /u/Ok-Nefariousness9090 [link] [comments]
