I hate when I go all in and I lose it just because of something out of my fucking control. I'm 22, worked in 3 startups so far, all in 0 to 1 environments. I currently lead Partnerships for a B2B SaaS, I joined here as the first hire in marketing did AEO drove 10% of website traffic with just that, got my company listed in 30+ sites. Successfully hosted 2 events all end to end one in SF and one in Amsterdam. Started partner program got 20+ active partners with $50k revenue in 3 months of launching and even influenced $300k in existing revenue. And after all this, my company did not bother to take me to events I hosted and now they hired someone who took all the contacts playbook from me and did the exact same thing and all she does is yap but somehow they assume yapping is networking. FUCKERS I started applying to my US startups got in one, did all assignments and work needed to show why I am the one, they so wanted to hire me full-time and take me to SF but these fucking rules of H1-B, they are asking 100K to file a fucking petition. I can't go the O1A route coz ofc i am early in my career and couldn't maybe surpass all eligibility criteria and haven't travelled outside india once. So apparently, they won't move forward with me after all that hardwork, it went to shit. I don't hate them because I know how startup works, they got the funding but they ofc won't put this crazy money behind someone with no guarentee of getting visa approved. I hate it to my core because i do not like giving up and always about finding a solution but here things are so out of control and it icks my goddamn brain.
