Original Summary
Hi all I'm the developer of Fireworks Frenzy Worlds, a rhythm game where every tap, hold, and swipe launches a firework synced to the beat. One-time $0.99, iPhone only, no ads, no IAP, no data collection. The hardest part of the build wasn't the rhythm engine it was keeping all 60 levels engaging. Adding special targets and bottle rockets is what finally made it feel good to play. Dialing in the difficulty is the tough part. I think it's in a good spot now, hopefully not too easy. A few things that surprised me shipping a tiny paid game: - $0.99 is the hardest price, not the easiest. With one rating, nobody trusts the listing — every sale has to be earned twice. - Reduced flashing on by default cost me a day of work and got my kindest feedback. - The local 2-player duel on one phone (added in v1.1) is the thing people actually show their friends. I'm after blunt feedback on two things: does the rhythm feel fair on your device, and does the duel make you want a rematch? I have a handful of promo codes for people who'll genuinely test it. No review possible or expected (Apple blocks ratings on promo-code downloads), just your honest take. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/fireworks-frenzy-worlds/id6808241177 submitted by /u/ninkendo79 [link] [comments]
