I got tired of manually searching Reddit for conversations relevant to my projects, so I built this

Original Summary
I’ve been working on a project called GroupListener. The idea came from something I kept doing manually: search Reddit → open a bunch of posts → figure out which conversations are actually relevant → repeat the next day. Keyword alerts didn’t really solve it because the same keyword can appear in completely unrelated conversations. So I started experimenting with filtering conversations based on what the person is actually talking about rather than whether a specific word appears. For example, I can describe something like: “People looking for an alternative to a tool they currently use” and it tries to find matching conversations. It currently works with Reddit and Telegram. There’s still a lot I want to improve, especially around figuring out what should count as a genuinely relevant result. I recorded a quick demo of what I have so far 👇 Would love feedback on the idea — especially from anyone who has tried building something around social listening/search before. submitted by /u/Just_Ad5957 [link] [comments]
