I made this tool because whenever I want to do a new project, there is always this awkward step of picking required tooling that has to be installed on the system. I don't want to manage it, and I don't want to keep my local env in sync with CI configuration.<p>There are many package managers that fill this niche already, like mise and asdf, but they have the same downside: they are a separate installation step you need to do on CI or your machine to work with the project. I wanted something small that you check in and then simply use anywhere, so I built it.<p>.cmd works in any shell, be it Linux, macOS, or even Windows! And it's designed to be a cross-platform tool downloader and launcher, acting as an entry point to your project's CLI tasks. TBH, I think it's crazy something like this didn't exist before...
