I’ve been working on this for a while, and it’s pretty cool to finally be able to say it’s live. The idea started with a really simple problem: we could go grocery shopping, have plenty of food in the house… and still end up asking “what are we eating tonight?” I realized the problem wasn’t really a lack of recipes. It was remembering what we already bought, figuring out what could actually be made with it, keeping up with leftovers, and making another decision at the end of a long day. So I built DinnerCue. You can scan your grocery receipt, DinnerCue builds a memory of what’s in your kitchen, and then it helps suggest dinner ideas based around what you actually have.
