I built a BaZi calculator with a stock-chart view. You can now look at your forties and wonder whether you should have bought the dip. BaZi is a Chinese astrology system based on your birth date and time. It reads your life through ten-year cycles, with individual years interacting with those cycles. I turned that into a timeline, with one candle per year. Steve Jobs is one of the examples on the site. Using February 24, 1955, with the birth time left blank, the model puts his strongest stretch within his lifetime at 2001–2011 , with the highest individual year in 2009 . That lines up with a pretty recognizable part of his career: the iPod in 2001, the iPhone in 2007, and the iPad in 2010.
