Thomas faces another charge of racially aggravated harassment by allegedly using threatening or abusive words. He appeared at Margate Magistrates' Court on Friday via videolink wearing a grey T-shirt and rosary beads. District Judge William Nelson sent his case for a further case management hearing at Westminster Magistrates' Court on 4 November. Earlier this week, Thomas was refused bail during a crown court hearing over the alleged slashing of a dinghy in the English Channel.
