All the fakes get shuffled in with the real one and everyone votes. Points for spotting the truth, points for every person who falls for your lie. Being confidently wrong is a legitimate strategy. The weird part isn't the game, it's what it does to a friend group. You find out very fast who can lie to your face without blinking, and they never live it down.
