Hi r/SideProject , I've been building Basable ( https://basable.com ). You describe what you want in plain language, an AI assistant writes it, and it gets deployed to real infrastructure. The code is yours: it lives in your own GitHub repository and builds in your own GitHub Actions. Most "describe your app and we'll build it" tools stop at the demo. It will give you a working prototype on their hardware or locked-in tech stack. You get a preview, it looks right, and then making it real means exporting a zip and setting everything up yourself. I wanted the opposite: what you build in the first five minutes already runs the way it would in production. What it does today Websites, APIs and full-stack apps with any database that runs in a container with PVCs Every project gets a preview environment you can share (the dev branch) and a live one (main). One button merges and deploys. Iterate by chatting, or clone the repo and push changes by hand. Both deploy. Your own domain, with TLS handled for you Each project runs in its own isolated sandbox, on servers in the EU Under the hood it's plain Dockerfiles and Kubernetes manifests, and you can download a kubeconfig for each environment And if you do decide to run on your own infrastructure or private kubernetes cluster, just apply the manifests and you're good to go! No lock-in. What's rough It's alpha. Expect the occasional deploy that needs a retry, and error messages that assume you know Kubernetes. Finding those is exactly why I'm posting. Want to test it?
