Original Summary
Built an Android app called PushBuff. Basically locks your addictive apps (Instagram, YouTube, etc.) until you drop down and do pushups in front of your phone to get back in. The idea isn't new, there are already apps that do this. But most of them put up an aggressive paywall before your first rep, limit you to blocking just 1 app on the free tier, or make you watch video ads while you're exhausted on the floor. With PushBuff, blocking unlimited apps is free, zero ads, no account needed, and the camera counting runs 100% on your device so nothing is recorded or uploaded. One core rule I stuck to is no rep banking . On other apps, people knock out 50 pushups in the morning just to binge-scroll guilt-free at midnight. Here, you have to do the reps right when you tap the app . If you want to open Instagram at 1 AM in bed, you have to drop on the floor right then (which usually just makes you go to sleep). It went live on the Play Store recently. Would love to hear what feels clunky or what to improve. If you want Pro for custom rep counts and analytics, comment below and I'll DM you a promo code. Also as a solo dev, if you end up finding it useful, a quick review on Google Play would mean the world to help it get noticed!
