I have always been fascinated by the idea of a web desktop that you can access anywhere. This was done years ago by EyeOS, and again by daedalOS. (Mind you, most people probably use RDC or guacamole, im not exactly breaking the originally bank here. ) But if you are interested, your welcome to try the first release. The project is called myiaos.com you can : - drag files from your pc to the desktop to upload - right click on a files from myiaos to download it - connect claude or other agents to the chat in myiaos - add other users for a centralised desktop - chat with other users that you add - run ai agents direct in your browser. (0.8b, 2.2b, 4b) and it runs on your own pc hardware. So if you're out of tokens for all the ai models you know of, you could run this from your browser. This is designed to be run from any lamp server -> you can install to cpanel and use the built in cpanel directory password feature as an additional layer of protection. One warning is that many cpanel hosts do not like file storage software, I've had hosts tell me they banned anyone over 1gb as a "spammer". Not all hosts are the same, so check T&C's. The lockout screen is designed to be a book that someone can actually read. Its not an image of a book, its a real book you can readl So if you lock it or log out and someone goes through your history, they will just think you know how to read. Productivity -> this is still lacking, I'm starting to build in some of the tools I want. Project is 100% free to use, modify, download. Or you can 1 prompt it. Ask claude to just make a ripoff version of eyeos and not to make it to obvious... While I am actively using it, Currently there is no public demo version that I can show you. Whats coming next? This might take another 2-3 weeks, but Im working on whats going to be called, Myia bridge. The bridge: I wanted a way to list the projects I have, 1 click start them so I can preview it locally, so if its php, it starts the server, and opens the port its on. 1 click copy a prompt to the projects path, so I can feed that to any AI im using to work with so its not wasting tokens searching for paths. A way to scan projects for basic faults (this is taking a while to get right), a place I can save important prompts. Its meant to also track live sites, a basic ping to see if its up, and tracks if its backed up to git or not. It also shows cpu, gpu, ram, and hdd stats in one space. and to close the port, just "shoot it".
