Built this because every dictation tool I tried needed an internet connection, wanted a subscription, or handled my Bluetooth headset badly. Wanted something that ran fully locally and typed directly into whatever I was working in, no clipboard, no cloud. Hold a hotkey, talk, release, it transcribes with faster-whisper on your own machine and types the text into whatever app has focus. Fully open source (MIT), core app free forever. There's an optional $14 one-time Pro unlock for bigger Whisper models and text snippets, not required for the main thing to work. Built solo, Python + PySide6, packaged with PyInstaller. Windows only right now.
