I realized I click "I agree" on every app I use without reading a word of it. So I pulled the actual terms and privacy policies from social apps, banks, airlines, insurers, hospitals and more, and turned them into a daily game called Knewbee. How it works: 5 real lines of fine print a day Guess which company said it Pick how you feel: not okay, wish I knew, or cool with it See how everyone else answered Every line shows the exact wording and where it came from Shareable recap card at the end No signup, about a minute How it's built: Pulled terms and privacy policies for each company's app and website, across 10 categories (social, banks, airlines, insurers, hospitals and more) plus the top 25 App Store apps. Duplicate documents (same URL or content hash across app and site) are stored once. An LLM reads each document and proposes 5 to 10 candidate lines. Quotes must be copied from the source, never written by the model, and an automated verbatim check rejects anything that doesn't match. Each candidate gets a surprise score and a theme tag (data selling, location, biometrics, AI training, arbitration, etc.) so the daily set doesn't repeat the same kind of clause. Reading time on the recap card is the total words in that day's companies' documents at 238 words per minute. Real logos via logo.dev. Player reactions are real counts only. Firebase: Hosting, Firestore, Cloud Functions, anonymous auth for streaks, Realtime Database. Day 2 is live today.
