Original Summary
A while ago I was trying to figure out how much I actually spend on my bike. Fuel, servicing, chain kit, oil changes, insurance... a bunch of small expenses here and there. I had receipts and notes in different places, but no real idea of how much the bike was costing me over time. I also kept forgetting when I was supposed to do the next service or replace something. I ended up building my own ios app called MotoGhoom . It’s basically a simple place to keep track of: fuel and mileage bike expenses and monthly spending maintenance and service history reminders for upcoming maintenance rides and riding history an activity heatmap One thing I wanted from the beginning was for it to work offline and without an account . Your bike data stays on your phone. It's currently free for one bike and is iOS only for now. - website: https://motoghoom.com - app store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/motoghoom/id6802165050 I’m sharing it here because I’d genuinely like to know how other riders keep track of this stuff. Do you use an app like fueilo, a spreadsheet, notes, or just keep it all in your head? And if you do track your bike, what information do you actually care about? submitted by /u/churpitech [link] [comments]
