We’ve been building CrossroadsHub, a project exploring what a “GitHub for ideas” could look like. Our first episode of the Hindsight Series looks at a problem we kept running into: teams can remember what decision was made, but the reasoning behind it often gets lost over time. Documents preserve the outcome. Chat history preserves fragments. But the assumptions, alternatives, discussions, and reasoning that shaped the decision can be much harder to recover. We’re exploring how AI can help preserve and retrieve that decision history in a way that’s actually useful later — especially when an idea changes direction. We wrote about the problem, what we found when standard retrieval wasn’t enough, and how we’re approaching decision memory with Hindsight and graph-based reasoning.
