Hey everyone — wanted to share something I've been building on and off for the past couple months. It's called Toolthy (toolthy.com) — a collection of free online tools: PDF merge/split/compress/edit, image compression/resizing/conversion, audio conversion/trimming, some calculators (mortgage, loan, salary), QR/barcode generators, and a few network diagnostic tools (speed test, ping, DNS lookup). The thing I cared most about building it: everything runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript (Web Audio API, Canvas, pdf-lib, etc.) — no file ever gets uploaded to a server. A lot of the "free online PDF tool" sites out there quietly upload your file somewhere to process it, which always bugged me, especially for stuff like filling out PDF forms with personal info. So with Toolthy, if you drop in a PDF or image, it never leaves your machine. No signup, no watermarks, no file size limits tied to a paywall — just free tools.
